Putting speaker mounts in the ceiling today. I’ll be at the house most of the day if anyone wants to stop by and check it out. Msg me.

A few updated pictures as things progress. Exterior trim is getting fabricated and installed, some dirt moving has started to get the front driveway sorted, as well as the areas to the side of the house. Electrical has started with about 250 can lights to install, as well as about 130 outlets. HVAC is about 60% done, and plumbing about 60% as well.

Back to dirt moving… a few tree stumps get removed.

A good Saturday spent doing construction. HVAC is getting installed, drains are in, and pressure side are getting done. I have 190 drops installed (not wired, just drops and holes). ( there are a few comments in the picture descriptions).

Torque
A new property of light, called ‘self-torque’ was recently discovered. You can read about it here:

It is a really interesting discovery working with the properties of orbital angular momentum which itself wasn’t really understood until 1992 ( see https://sci-hub.se/https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevA.45.8185).
Of course car people everywhere are wondering if light has torque, it must have horsepower! Sadly the power ( dE/dt ) is based on E=hv, so no light cycles to ride just yet.

Timing belt on. Almost time to send it.
Plumbing
Plumbing is underway. Drains are almost installed. We are using iron pipe where possible in the walls to reduce the sound of water.
