It is a happy day when you get cool parts made by cool friends. 8x ID1050Xs and the F750PTS, plus 2 AFR500V2 w/NTKs all for the twin-turbo GTO. (Thanks to Paul Yaw, Tony Palo, and James Ballenger for making great stuff).

I figure 8x 1050xs running at 70psi base pressure will be sufficient for RWD.

Last foundation wall pour complete. Time for lots and lots of gravel and rock, then the floors get poured.

I like anti-seize. Given most fastener use cases in modern cars are steel bolts in aluminum threads, it is an everyday tool. I have for many years used nickel based anti-seize.

I recently switched to a ceramic anti-seize called Rock’NRoll that so far has been working extremely well, especially on exhaust components. I think it is my new favorite.

Any other favorite anti-seize compounds?

Forms have been removed from second foundation pour, and forms are going up for the third pour, which includes the ceiling in the vault/safe room. The third pour should happen mid next week.

There was some discussion in a previous post about the pulse dampers causing some pressure related problems when placed directly on the rail.

I added four high speed pressure sensors onto the inputs and outputs of the fuel rails, and I think that should enable me to see if such problems exist. I should be able to sample these sensors at 500hz (2ms), which might provide enough resolution to see oscillations. If needed I can swap in some faster sensors.

I must admit the intake manifold looks better than I thought it would.

With the footers poured, construction of the forms for the foundation wall are underway. Yes Neil A. Switzer, I have notified the NSA that the battleship is nearly ready. 😉

Mmmmmm.. Gold. Nice that the Injector Dynamics hats happen to be gold for these ID2000. That Paul Yaw thinks of everything. Radium pulse dampers as well.
