Motec PIN
A question for my Motec friends (Tony Palo,John Reed).
The C187 display has an Autosport 79 pin connector on the back. The mating connector appears to be the 79-pin socket AS620-35SN (https://www.prowireusa.com/p-807-79-way-connector-plug-skt.aspx).
That mating connector uses ‘sockets’, and those sockets are the size 22 38943-22. (https://www.prowireusa.com/p-1552-size-22-contact-skt-deutsch-autosort.aspx).
The manual for the C187 says the tool to crimp those ‘sockets’ is the M22520/2-01 with the M22520/2-07 positioner.
The M22520/2-07 positioner (http://www.prowireusa.com/p-1005-deutsch-as-series-pin-positioner-k40.aspx) is listed on Prowire as for the ‘38943-22 pin’.
Correspondly the M22520/2-09 positioner is listed as for the ‘38941-22 socket’
I assume the Prowire description is just wrong, as 38943-22 is not a pin, but a socket. Thus both the 2-07 and 2-09 descriptions are wrong (and the C187 user manual) is correct.’
The correct positioner for that 79 position mating connect is in fact the 2-07 (K40), right?
